Abstract

The existence of restaurants, cafes, and the like are more intense lately. Giving rise to competition between the restaurant business with one another. Services are not optimal due to insufficient number of waiters to be one of the main factors. Of the problems it is at the end of this task is made a system to maximize service with communication-based microcontroller with TCP / IP. Microcontroller is a single chip computer that has the ability to be programmed and used for tasks oriented control. TCP / IP is a protocol that is connection oriented. In this thesis generates a comparison of existing systems. This system consists of a hardware and a software with TCP / IP communication. Usefulness of TCP / IP communication in this thesis is that the server can receive data from multiple clients simultaneously. Based on the test results of this thesis, it can be concluded that the hardware and software can communicate with TCP / IP communication. The data received by the communication is complete and requires a short time, because data can be received simultaneously without the need to take turns.
