One of the constraints faced by farmers and rice post-harvest processing, namely the drying process. This is due to the drying of grain in the traditional way, ie with grain drying in the sun by placing it on a tarp. Obstacles arise during the rainy season, because the grain will be dried longer and this can lead to insect or fungal attack. In this thesis project created a prototype grain dryers are expected to help solve the problems in the grain drying process. This system uses an Arduino Uno R3 as controlling temperature, humidity, and time. In the control of temperature, humidity, and time of heating system using actuators, blowers, and motors. The heater is used to raise the temperature, while the blower intended for heating evenly so as to lower the humidity value of rice. The use of the motor to rotate rice aims to be evenly distributed in the rice drying process. Thus, the expected prototype grain dryers can be applied in real life with a more economical source of energy that could help rice farmers.
