Abstract
UD. Jaya Mulia is a distribution company who effort activity are selling and buying children clothes and baby equipment. At this time all business process at UD. Jaya Mulia still using manually process. Because of that UD. Jaya Mulia have difficult experience with this business process. The big impact is in warehouse division that is for knowing direct manner stock item who used up, beside that UD. Jaya Mulia get some difficulties to stabilized how many quantity items they have to buy from Supplier in order to happen accumulation items in warehouse for a long time. Due to those problems, forecasting exponential smoothing method can be used to help UD. Jaya Mulia to predict and stabilize the quantity items will be bought from Supplier.
