Abstract

Database Programming II is one of the subject taught in STIKOM SURABAYA to achieve international certification. This subject concerns on Procedural Language/Structure Query Language (PL/SQL). In which it is one part of Oracle’s international certification. Question types in Database Programming II is similar to the question type for Oracle’s certification, however, its exam implementation is quite different between both. Although Database Programming II exam has been conducted online on the laboratory, it is still found some weaknesses of its system. Referring to the experiments that have been done, it can be concluded that the new system could accommodate some questions in form of image or table which can overcome the weaknesses. The new system could be apply as certification exam simulation for student of STIKOM SURABAYA which supports them in preparing them to join Oracle certification, especially PL/SQL. Indeed, this system also could help the Database Programming II lecturer in evaluating Database Programming II effectively.
