Abstract
Mobile robot using a camera is one type robot developed to date. In this research, designed and built a robot that utilizes data from the camera to detect the path to be taken. Three-wheeled robot with electro-mechanics controller using ATMega 8535 micro controller and image processing using a personal computer (PC) has been successfully created. Using a webcam, camera positioning and selection of appropriate threshold values to produce images that can be used by the robot to traverse the path specified. The robot can walk along 16 m following the path taken in an average of 2 minutes 20 seconds.
