Abstract

The college has so many different courses that student can choose. Many people choose it basically from looking the job availability, just following some friends from high school, etc. In STIKOM Surabaya which has the data from its student can use it to make a models to help a new student who wants to sign in STIKOM Surabaya. Using data of high school grade and college grade from the graduated college student in STIKOM Surabaya, we can find its models using Regression Method. With that method we also can find its correlation each course between UNAS and IPK. The subjects were 432 college students who have been graduated from STIKOM Surabaya. After we found the models, it can be use to predict the new student IPK each courses and suggest the best courses for him. However, each model must be tested using F and T test. The result is each courses has its own models and correlation. But mostly they have positive correlation. It means some of the courses have a correlation between UNAS and IPK of its college student.
