Mobile robots are one of the many types of robots designed to assist people in completing the task. With wireless technology, the robot can be controlled remotely. And with a mobile robot that can be controlled remotely, many jobs in high-risk areas can be handled. But wireless technology has a weakness that is if the radio signal does not reach the robot, or if the robot was in the area who do not have a radio signal (blank spot), then the robot will lose control. For that designed a robot that can automatically return to their home if the robot for a moment losing control signals. So in this study created a robot that records the route that is traversed when walking forward. And will automatically be returned to the place of origin if it loses the signal. By using micro controller as robot controllers and route recorder, the computer PC as the central control by the operator and wireless communications will become a mobile robot with a remote control that automatically return to the place of origin if it loses the signal controller. Although the results have not been perfect but the robot has to record the route and return to its original place. The result is less than perfect because of differences in motor speed wheel left and right wheel robot.
