Abstract

Demand and distribution of goods is a major factor in economic activity within a company. To that end, the purpose of writing the final project report is to determine the procedure demand and distribution of items in the PT Campina Ice Cream Industry Surabaya, to know how the system or rules adopted by PT Campina Ice Cream Industry Surabaya in managing demand and distribution of goods in order to run smoothly. In writing this final project report, the writer used the observation method (Direct Observation), interviews and literature studies in the workplace practice. The writer made detailed observations about how the process and the flow of demand and distribution of the goods of the company. In addition, the writer also conducted interviews with staff at the Department of Logistics, a place where the writer do practical work, a visit to the library to find resources and references that support the preparation of reports, and also did browsing the Internet to complete the necessary data. From the results of observations, the application of the system in the process of the flow of demand for goods and the distribution of goods of the company is very good. Because the system used applies the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) either the document or the work done. In addition to a system of SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) activities carried out can run smoothly and quickly.
