Abstract

Animation generally only use one technique just like animation with 2D or 3D techniques. Animation in Indonesia is quite rare that using a combination of 2D and 3D techniques. This animation tries to apply these techniques. The appearance glance looks like a 2D animation but actually the characters created with 2D techniques while environment made with 3D techniques. 2D and 3D animation has its own advantages and disadvantages. 2D animation has always come up with a simple form and color while 3D animations always look realistic that match the real shape. But both the animation also has shortcomings. Movements that are too rigid in 2D animation and the hassle of making a character or a complex environment in 3D animation. But these shortcomings can cover each other when both techniques are combined. In addition, by combining these techniques can produce a different animation. The process of making the animation is done separately because the film is done in groups consisting of two people. Pre-production and production process that includes the development of idea an concept, making treatment, storyboard, character design and 2D character animation done by the 2nd author (Ratna Indah S.). While the post-production and manufacturing processes environtment with 3D techniques performed by 1st author (Adinda Miftania). This animation uses a variety of software from the pre-production to post production. This final report is expected to be role model for young animators, both technically, and moral concepts contained therein.
