Abstract

PT. Kuda Inti Samudera Semarang have payroll information systems and attendance systems using barcode scanner. Employee identification card process through barcode and data is stored in a Microsoft Access database. However, after running one year, the payroll system to be slow in displaying the data. To fixed these deficiencies, this research will be done some revamping. First settling first by replacing the database from Microsoft Access to Microsoft Sql Server 2005. Second settling by replacing the attendance system using fingerprint scanner, as the step of updating the technology on-demand management of PT. Kuda Inti Samudera Semarang. In this study, the attendance system successfully updated using the fingerprint scanner. The data from the old payroll system, has been converted from Microsoft Access to Microsoft Sql Server and Presence system using fingerprint scanner has been integrated into the payroll system.
